Two City Doggers Qualify for Nationals!

Lisa Harper and her sheltie Samson and Kristin Kaldahl and her sheltie Aslan have all qualified for the 2010 AKC Agility National Championships to be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This will be the first time for Harper and Samson to attend Nationals.  Kaldahl and Aslan have qualified five times for Nationals, and have attended twice before.

Both dogs qualified for Nationals on Sunday at the Ponca City trial the end of September, 2009. Harper ran Samson to a Double Q and earned their qualifying points. Kaldahl ran Aslan in Standard on Sunday, Qing with him in spite of Kaldahl having a broken rib. Harper ran Aslan in JWW for Kaldahl later in the day, earning a first place and the points Aslan needed to qualify him for Nationals. Therefore, Harper qualified two dogs for Nationals on the same day!

Citydoggers Sally Sheridan and her Golden, Bang, quaified for Nationals earlier in the year. One more City Dogger is working to qualify before the qualifying period is over the end of November.

"I'm thrilled to have gotten Aslan qualified after missing about seven months of the qualifying period due to medical issues," Kaldahl said. "It's going to be a fantastic time at Nationals again."

City Dogs has by far the most dogs qualified for Nationals of all the schools in the metroi area!!
