Another Citydogger Qualifies for Nationals!
Sally Sheridan and Bang qualified for the 2008 AKC Agility National
Championship at the Permian Basin Obedience Training Club's agility
trial in November, earning their final speed points for the
event. Bang is a seven-year-old Golden Retriever.
The team has been working very hard this year to accomplish this
goal, and it's great to see them have success. Sally is a former
AKC agility judge, and Bang, a conformation Champion, also has titles
in field. Bang will also soon be seen in obedience rings locally,
showing more of her versitility..
In addition to qualifying for Nationals, the team is also well over
half way to their MACH (Master Agility CHampion).
To qualify for Nationals, teams must earn a minimum of 6 Double Qs
and 400 speed points.
Sally and Bang will join fellow Citydoggers Kristin Kaldahl and
Aslan at the AKC Agility Nationals. This year is even more
special, as the event will be held just down the higway in Tulsa,
Oklahoma at the end of March. If you haven't already, get hotel
reservations as hotels are filling quickly.
Nationals is an event not to be missed. The level of
competition and handling are unsurpassed. It's great to see two
more Citydoggers make the trip to represent Oklahoma and City Dogs at
the prestigious event.
We are proud of you Sally and Bang!!
