Aslan MACHs!
Aslan, a five-year-old sheltie owned by City Dog's owner and trainer Kristin Kaldahl, earned his MACH (Masters Agility CHampionship) Oct. 14th, 2006 at the Sooner State Kennel Club Agility Trial in Enid, OK. Aslan is the first dog in the Oklahoma City area to earn this highest agility title offered by the AKC.
Aslan and Kristin entered the weekend with two QQs yet to earn to get their Championship. On Friday, they earned the first of these QQs with two more days left in the trial. On Saturday, Oct. 14th, Aslan and Kristin executed a clean round in Jumpers with Weaves, leaving only a clean round in Standard left for the final piece of the MACH puzzle. Aslan accomplished that feat with another clean run in the Standard class, earning him the title of MACH Aslan.
