Incredible City Dog's Team Qualifies for 2011 World Team Try Outs

Seeing a dream come true, Kelsey Kirkpatrick and her red and white border collie Ace have qualfied for the 2011 World Team Try Outs to be held in Minnesota in May.

Very few teams are fast and accurate enough to qualify for the World Team Try Outs.  Those chosen at and after try outs will represent the USA at the FCI World Agility Championships to be held this year in France,

To qualify, Kirkpatrick and Ace had to do have eight Excellent B Standard runs under 4.00 yards per second; eight Excellent B jumpers With Weaves runs under 5.40 yards per second; and four Double Qs.. The times needed to qualify for these runs are astronomical and then to pair that with the accuracy needed to get the Double Qs and it is an almost impossible task.

The competition level at World Team Try Outs is legendary and the atmosphere is always super charged. This team will only add to the aura of excellence at the event.

It has bee a dream of Kirkpatrick's to get to World Team Try Outs for some time. We are all rooting for Ace and Kelsey and hope they get a trip to France as icing on the cake of a dream already achieved!
