Citydoggers Qualifies for 2009 AKC Agility Nationals

The first Citydoggers have qualified for the 2009 AKC Agility National Championships.  Kristin Kaldahl and MACH Aslan, a six year old sheltie, qualified for the event early this April, the weekend after the 2008 Nationals.  Dogs must earn 6 QQs and 400 speed points to qualify for Nationals.

Aslan and Kaldahl attended Nationals the last two years, and have qualified for Nationals four times.

The AKC has announced that the 2009 AKC Agility National Championships will be held this year in North Carolina.

"I'm looking forward to going again," said Kaldahl.  "We are working on speeding up our game just a bit, and hope again to run clean and be competitive at the event."

This marks the fourth year that dogs from City Dogs have qualified for the prestigious event.  Other Citydoggers are in the hunt to attend Nationals this next year.  Stay tuned to see who qualifies!
